Adoptions
Here are some highly adoptable animals in the HSSNM foster care program. Several animals are at Doggie Dude Ranch & Cat Farm, a boarding kennel providing foster care for HSSNM adoptions. Please call Doggie Dude Ranch at 647-4471 for information about the animals, or the HSSNM office 523-8020.
Brownie

Brownie is a special needs semi-feral little spayed female kitten, current on her shots, who has captivated her foster family with her unique attitude.  Brownie was trapped on the roof of a local golf club and while she puts on a good show of hissing and acting tough has never bitten or even scratched anyone.  We know that the completion of her socialization will require a dedicated effort on the part of her new family but we think she is special and deserves every opportunity we can give her.

Marlon

Marlon is a 1-1/2 yr old Red Sable Pomeranian. Has had his vaccinations, rabies shot and been neutered. He should be the only dog in the family, and does not do well with cats or children. He is more people oriented, but must have a secure yard.

These cats are available for adoption at PetSmart. For more information, please contact HSSNM volunteer Evelyn Hancock at 575-650-6746.

Blackie Blackie, is a 1-1/2 yr old, male cat. DSH Black. He has all of his vaccinations, tests, and has been neutered. He is a very friendly cat who loves attention and petting. He would do well in a family household with older children. He does not like dogs since he was attacked by one and is still recovering from that. If you would like to meet, Blackie, please call Evelyn at 575-650-6746.
Autumn Autumn is an 8-month old female kitten. DMH Tortoise Shell. She has had all of her vaccinations, tests and has been spayed. She is very shy at first, but once she becomes comfortable with her surroundings and new people, she is a real smoocher who loves petting and attention. If you would like to meet Autumn, please call Evelyn at 575-650-6746.
Sophie Sophie, a 1-yr old female cat, DMH Brown/Black Tabby, who is a real sweet cat. She has had her tests, vaccinations and is scheduled to be spayed on March 15.
